Manager, Collections Analytics & MIS –Risk Management Division

Employment Type: Full Time Employment                               Job Location: Dhaka

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage Collections Analytics & MIS team. Set objectives and expectations as well as provide feedback, coaching and mentoring to direct reports aligned with strategic priorities across Retail products.
  • Continuously acquire and enhance knowledge of business/product strategies, reporting tools, technical processes and advanced analytical tools/methodologies in order to provide coaching to direct reports.
  • Lead and create daily, weekly and monthly report of business results to senior management and other stakeholders within Retail Business.
  • Work closely with Head of Retail Collections and develop MIS & Reporting of Delinquency results across products using multiple databases, financial reporting systems and mainframe.
  • Ensure optimal processes are established to produce timely and accurate reports on financial metrics for senior management.
  • Produce monthly Collections Operations Dashboard including commentary to identify key trends and root causes impacting Collections & Recoveries.
  • Closely monitor operational KPI’s to ensure consistency in execution & trends
  • Develop MIS to support information need for monitor portfolio  performance & agent productivity
  • Lead automation of reports to increase productivity, efficiency and accuracy of MIS ensuring business stakeholders are minimizing time spent on repetitive or manual tasks
  • Ensure all systems and analytical infrastructure used for reporting and analytics have accurate information and are available to business users with minimum downtime. Work closely with IT, data warehouse or other internal/external partners to resolve issues around data accuracy or systems availability
  • Effectively manage and prioritize multiple collections related initiatives, campaign, projects and ad-hoc reporting needs with Retail Collections.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7+ years of experience in Banking sector (Retail Banking- Loan & Credit card) will be preferred
  • MBA (MIS, Finance or Marketing) will be preferred
  • Excel programming and Microsoft Access skills including queries, forms, reports and macros
  • Strong communication skills essential with clients, vendors and management
  • Strong planning, analytical, presentation, project management, people management and relationship building skills

Officer, Collections- Cards–Risk Management Division

Employment Type: Full Time Employment                               Job Location: Chittagong

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage a team to insure delinquent Credit card accounts follow-up in order to minimize credit losses and maximize recoveries.
  • Maintain effective communication with both internal and external customers to ensure smooth service and maintain high service standard
  • Negotiate appropriately with defaulting customers without compromising Bank’s reputation.  Take appropriate collections action according to set policy of the Bank.
  • Identify delinquency trends and risky accounts; escalate them to the management attention. To address and assist Management regarding collection related reporting.
  • To take initiative to ensure overall assigned responsibilities of MIS desk team
  • Maintain customers database for Credit cards and Generate various reports and management information for management and other stakeholder and ensure data integrity of the MIS database
  • Work closely with Manager and deliver delinquency results across products.
  • Interact with the customers to chase on due bills keeping the credit worthiness of the company in mind.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2+ years of experience in Banking sector (Retail Banking – Credit Card)
  • Master’s degree or MBA (MIS, Finance or Marketing) will be preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Knowledge of Collections processes and systems is considered a strong asset
  • Strong leadership quality and staff motivation skill
  • Strong Command over Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Ability to work under pressure situation and ability to complete all assignments in a timely and effective manner
